Circus Circus has remodeled the rooms

here is the information that was sent to me via Youtube
Carpet, drapes, and wallpaper look like the picture in your video, but the bed linens are new. The beds are now pillow tops. The headboards and furniture appears new. There is an armoire that has the TV. TV is probably the same ones as before since it looks like a tube style TV (still flat screen). All furniture is in a darker finish (looks like a cherry finish to me) with hardware in a brushed silver finish. Armoire has built in closet and hides the iron and ironing board. On the side, you'll find a brand new in room safe that is free. The original safe is still in the room but is coin operated. Mirror frame is also in this same wood finish.. Night stands and table have glass on top to protect the wood tops. Night stands also have tables that pull out to create work space/eating space. Chairs are also new in a brown paisley pattern with matching throw pillows in brown and muted light blue colors. These colors match the headboard. The door to the room is obviously newer, but the bathroom door and the door that closes off the connected rooms are still the originals. I'm not sure if the marble in the bathroom is new, but the faucets appear new. Trash cans and ice bucket all match in a brushed silver finish.

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino

Treasure Island hotel and casino is a wonderful place to stray. It is place where you can let your inner siren and pirate take over and just have fun. From my experience the rooms are very beautiful and very comfortable. The view from the rooms is amazing especially if you get a room facing the strip, the cove, or the Mirage. I do not like the rooms that face the mountains because that is not really something that I am interested in. the part that I love most of the hotel is the Sirens of TI show. It is very exhilarating and funny at the same time. I don't know if it is suitable for all ages because of some of the jokes and innuendos that are used in their script. We have seen it with children and since they don't really understand what is going on they don't see the "bad" parts of it. As children get older they start to understand the jukes and what the meaning of the show is. I don't like the sides of the show or the VIP seating because you can't see everything that is going on. The best place to seat or stand is the walkway all the way to the back near the street. There you can see everything that is going on. The thing that I do not like about the show is the chaos that forms after the show when everyone is going their separate ways. If you want to see something very fun there is the bike in the lobby that was made especially for TI that shows a siren and everything that embodied being a siren.

Circus Circus Hotel, Casino & Adventuredome Las Vegas

I stayed at the Circus Circus this past December (2010) and I stayed at the Skyrise Tower. The first day that we were there was good. We arrived at 8pm and we went to the rooms we settled in and then we went for a walk on the promenade and the Adventuredome. Finding the right elevator was hard at first because the back ones go from 18-25 but the first ones only go from 1-18. We were in floor 21 so we were somewhat confused. The second day we had a good time in the morning. Now in the afternoon it became a pain to go to the room. The elevators would go all the way up and they would fill up with people and it would be hot and annoying to get into the rooms and then back out. Also while we were relaxing in the room there some sort of leakage happening in the room, the carpeting next to the bathroom wall next to the bed was soaked. We called the front desk and they sent someone to check it and they could not find the cause of the damage. They offered to move me and my roommate to another room or place towels on the floor to try to dry off the carpet. We could not move because we had two other rooms being used by our group and the hotel would not be able to move them. We were forced to stay in the room and they sent over towels to place on the floor. The next morning before we left the hotel we noticed that the floor and the towels were soaked and it was so much that it would start to smell bad. My roommate actually got sick because of the water damage. The hotel was generous enough to only charge us for half the price of the second night. When we were trying to put our bags back into the car was a nightmare. It took us 30 min to wait for the elevator, then 30 min to get to the casino floor and then to the car. One of the group members was actually almost suffocated because she is small and the air wasn't reaching her. Another group member was about to pass out and it was horrible. It took us at least 20 min out of the elevator to recuperate and be able to get back to the rooms to get the rest of the stuff. The skyrise tower was the worst place that we have stayed in. the casino and the games were great for the adults and the children in the group. We had so much fun with that. The complementary booklets were great too because we were able to get on the rides on the Adventuredome and we got to play at pike pass. Also we saved on food. If I would be asked what I thought of the hotel I would suggest to not stay at the skyrise because it is a pain to get in and out. But the hotel over all was great and I would advise them to go there if they have children because they would have so much to do there.

Sahara hotel and casino closes today

i just wanted to write this very informal post for the sahara hotel and casino. the hotel closes today and it will be missed. a huge part of las vegas history will be gone. a place where some of the grates were at will no longer be there. generations of families that have gone to this hotel will have to stop their traditions due to the fall of the economy which brought down this hotel. for me i went there once and i brought back with me a token from the sahara arcade and a receip from the casino. that is my memorabilia from the hotel and my family had different ones. everyone has a piece of the history of the hotel with them in or in them. this hotel will be missed and we wish that it wasnt gone forever but it is.

Luxor Hotel and Casino

I stayed at the Luxor Hotel and casino once and I was not impressed with what we got. We actually got a pyramid deluxe room when we made our reservation yet when we went to the hotel they moved us to the tower rooms without first letting us know. We went in search of our room in the pyramid and we found nothing. When we went to the front desk we were told to go to the tower and look for the room. It was very difficult to use the elevators because the room keys would not activate it. When we got to the correct level we couldn't find the correct way to the rooms because there were so many turn. After we found the room we had a hard time getting to the car to get the luggage because the exit to the casino is so far from the room sand the parking structure is all the way to the end that it takes a long time and a lot of patience to get there. For food we had to settle for the McDonalds because all the other places were too pricy. The bars were okay they were just like all the other places and the shows there were not that very interesting. The ones that caught my attention was the beLIEve show and the Titanic exhibition. To stay at the hotel is pretty good you just have to make sure that you get what you request because if not you will drive yourself crazy trying to figure out what you are supposed to be doing.

Sahara Hotel and Casino (soon closing)

I have stayed in this hotel before and I can say that it was an okay experience the room that we was is had good access to the exit and to the casino, but it did not have air conditioning. We were there at the end of July and it was very hot outside. When we went to the room to rest and relax it was also hot inside. The only ways to stay cool was to either be in the pool or the shower. The pool was great the kids went there 2 times and they had fun. They also had fun at the arcade because it was open 24 hours a day and they were able to go whenever they wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part. The best was that the elevator left us a few steps away from the door. What we didn't like was that we had reserved 5 rooms and 2 were close together but the other 3 were scattered across the floor. We didn't have adjacent rooms anywhere and the room that we had stayed in was adjacent to some party people because they were so loud at night that we could hear ruckus all night long. The view that we had from our window was okay but the view from the balcony was better. It was of the pool and of the stratosphere and circus circus. If I had a chance to go again I would but not in the summer because of the heat.
